Yrs Job Summary:
The client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support enterprise data products with a strong focus on Business As Usual BAU operations. This role is not project-based and is centered on ensuring stability, reliability, and incremental enhancement of existing data pipelines and platforms. The selected resource will act as an independent contributor, owning day-to-day production support activities while collaborating closely with Client's and Cognizant stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Databricks Responsibilities:
Provide BAU support for existing data products and data integration pipelines. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Implement minor enhancements and optimizations to existing data workflows. Support and maintain ETL or ELT pipelines built using Azure Data Factory ADF. Work with Azure Databricks for data processing, transformation, and performance tuning. Ensure data reliability, quality, and operational stability across environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams while working independently with minimal supervision. Adhere to Client's operational, security, and compliance standards. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). Solid working knowledge of Azure Databricks. Experience supporting production data environments (BAU / Run-the-Business). Ability to analyze and fix production issues efficiently. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proven ability to work as an independent contributor.
