Position Summary:
The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting data pipelines and ETL systems. This role requires hands-on data warehouse development experience including but not limited to: Extract, Transform, Load/Extract, Load, Transform (ETL/ELT), and data modeling.Status:

Data Warehouse Development:
Translate business requirements into technical procedures and structures. Build data pipelines through Webhooks or APIs to integrate data from disparate source systems. Use APIs to retrieve, integrate, and cleanse data for use in analytical systems and platforms. Build data shares for external partners.Data Management & Governance:
Design and build procedures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Maintain code repositories using Git.Problem Solving:
Contribute towards development solutions for data pipelines and its processing within data lakes/warehouses/lakehouses. Perform data profiling on source data systems and model it for use downstream. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot problems independently and/or collaboratively. Dive into complex data acquisition, processing, and modeling requirements.Documentation & Communication:
Build and maintain effective documentation for data pipeline and ETL systems. Effectively communicate design problems and solutions with the Data Management team and business users.Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required Minimum three years experience building ETL systems and data pipelines in a data warehouse environment required Minimum three years of Structured Query Language (SQL) experience required Understanding of how to leverage data platforms to efficiently and cost-effectively collect, store, and use data required Collaborative, team-first mentality with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical users, and team members required Effective written and verbal communication skills required Minimum three years of Python or other scripting language preferred Minimum three years of Data Warehouse experience preferred Cloud ETL platform experience preferred Snowflake or Databricks experience preferred Salesforce API and data pipeline experience preferred Experience working in an Agile/Scrum Project Development environment preferredBenefits Include:
