A Data Engineer designs, builds and manages the information or big data infrastructure. Develops the architecture that helps analyze and process data in the way the organization needs it. Makes sure those systems are performing smoothly.
Implements designs, develops, tests, and maintains the ETL scripts and jobs that are required to extract, transform, clean, and move data and metadata so that it can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store. Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of experience or, in the alternative, Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field plus a minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience required in operational data stores or data warehousing and relational database management systems or multi-dimensional database management systems.
