Senior Analytics Engineer

LOCATION

Kennett Square, PA (Up to 40% telework permitted)

DUTIES:

Architect and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python and/or SQL. Maintain relational databases such as PostgreSQL. Design and manage data lakehouse or warehouse solutions for analytics and reporting using cloud native tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake). Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategies for critical data systems, ensuring reliability and continuity during failures or outages. Implement secure connectivity using private endpoints for data services. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code. Develop real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka, Debezium, or similar technology. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and best practices. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and best practices. Align technical work with business strategy and roadmap goals. Translate strategic objectives into actionable technical plans, ensuring team efforts contribute to business priorities aligned with the product roadmap. Drive cross-functional collaboration and maintain alignment with product roadmaps. Foster a collaborative, delivery-oriented culture grounded in modern engineering practices and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

Master's degree in Applied Data Science or a related field and 2 year in any job title involving experience working with data pipeline automation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Data Science or a related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience working with data pipeline automation.

Prior experience must include:

Working in cloud data platforms, including Azure; Working with infrastructure as code, including Terraform; Using streaming technologies and CDC, including Kafka and Debezium; Translating business processes into data solutions; Experience with SQL and data modeling; and Creating and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines. Up to 40% telework permitted.

SALARY:

$144,685/year
