Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client seeking a Data Engineer on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, PA.

Summary:

The Data Engineer will be tasked with translating data requirements into applications, as well as needing to analyze, define, develop, and maintain complex database structures and a viable integration ETL architecture, and applications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field., or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience leveraging Informatica PowerCenter/Informatica Cloud toolset experience
• 3+ years of experience in Data Modeling or Data Integration
• 2+ years of experience as ETL Architect or Designer, including experience installing and configuring database and ETL software is highly preferred
• Knowledge of operating systems hardware and software, relational databases, and software development tools including but not limited to: Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL-Server, Erwin; MS Access, and Excel are highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to solve problems and multitask The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
