Full-Time Job Duties:
1. Provide expert level data solutions by using software to process, store, and serve data to others. 2. Test data quality and optimize data availability. 3. Ensure that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable, and secure. 4. Mentor newer Data Engineering crew. 5. Research and experiment with cloud services to evolve the platform to better meet business goals. 6. Collaborate with a wide variety of Vanguard employees to ensure the necessary solutions are delivered. 7. Support Data Engineers on other teams to help those teams achieve their goals. 8. May telecommute pursuant to company policies (hybrid role).
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Analytics or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Engineer, Specialist-related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Analytics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Engineer, Specialist-related occupation.
