Job Description

An enterprise financial services organization is seeking an Oracle HCM Data Engineer to support HR data modernization and analytics initiatives in a remote environment. This role will focus on building and maintaining data solutions that improve reporting, data quality, and governance across the enterprise. About the

Remote Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, database objects, and data transformations across SQL Server and Oracle environments Support HR data modernization efforts by translating legacy SQL Server logic into Oracle HCM-based solutions Build BI Publisher and BICC reports to source, validate, and analyze HR data Create and maintain technical documentation, including data definitions, business rules, mappings, lineage, and governance artifacts Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality across reporting and analytics platforms
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, data warehousing, or a related field Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience Advanced SQL development expertise, including complex joins, analytical/window functions, and performance optimization Hands-on experience with SQL Server and Oracle SQL Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including front-end functionality and backend data structures Experience using Oracle Analytics tools such as BI Publisher and BICC Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting HR data modernization or migration initiatives Experience working with legacy HR platforms such as PeopleSoft Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing concepts, including fact tables and historical data design Experience supporting data governance, data lineage, and data quality initiatives Experience working within Azure-based data and analytics environments
