Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fabric Engineer to join our team in the San Jose Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Fabric Data Engineering, building and managing data pipelines, working with notebooks, and ensuring robust data monitoring solutions. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence four days a week, along with close collaboration with offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Fabric Data Engineering Work extensively with data notebooks for analysis and development Implement and manage data monitoring and alerting systems Write optimized SQL queries for data processing and analytics Collaborate with cross-functional teams across onsite and offshore locations Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently
Required Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in data engineering or related roles Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Fabric Data Engineering) Strong experience with Azure cloud services Proven expertise in building and managing data pipelines Experience designing and managing DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) for workflow orchestration Proficiency in SQL and data modeling Experience working with notebook-based development environments Experience with data monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting Experience working in onsite/offshore collaboration models Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tools such as Databricks, Airflow, or similar platforms Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed systems Experience with Power BI is a plus Prior experience in enterprise-scale data environments
