Years Job Summary:

LPL Financial is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design, develop, and lead scalable data solutions supporting enterprise analytics and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.

Develop data platforms and integrations using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies.

Work with large datasets, data warehouses, and distributed processing frameworks.

Collaborate with data architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.

Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance.

Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers and provide technical leadership.

Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues.

Required Skills:

7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong Python and SQL skills.

Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud data platforms.

Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, and APIs.

Experience with Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.

Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Financial services experience is a plus.
