JOB DUTIES
Develop code to build new data environments by joining disparate internal and external data sources into a unified Big Data Repository on Hadoop and relational databases. Identify proper data sources and perform source system data validation and profiling. Design and develop data acquisition, transformation and ingestion methods and pipelines from a variety of source systems and using a variety of data integration tools/technologies (SQL, Attunity, Sqoop, Spark, Python, Pig, Hive) under less supervision. Communicate technical results in a clear and professional manner to non-technical business partners. Onboard and mentor developers and assist them in their work efforts. Maintain and support data pipelines and investigate bugs/issues and remediate them. Document existing and newly created processes for implementation in production systems. Develop and setup automation of scripts/ programs using Control-M Scheduler. Rapidly learn new business processes and data as new projects are usually completely distinct from previous efforts.
SALARY:
$160,285 - $176,900/yr.
LOCATION
1225 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, Texas 75019.
