Their technology teams are at the forefront of innovation, leveraging cutting-edge platforms and data technologies to drive business impact. Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join the Core Data Platform team. This role will focus on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and APIs while ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient data delivery across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for the Core Data platform Build and manage real-time streaming data pipelines Develop and maintain APIs (GraphQL) for downstream data consumption Work with technologies such as Airflow, Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Snowflake Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams Establish and enforce data engineering best practices (naming conventions, pipeline standards, etc.) Ensure data quality, reliability, and SLA adherence across all datasets Continuously improve platform performance and operational efficiency Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with large-scale data pipelines Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala Hands-on experience with Apache Spark in production environments Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other MPP/cloud data platforms Strong SQL skills and data modeling expertise Experience building APIs using GraphQL Solid understanding of OLTP vs OLAP systems Experience in distributed data processing or data services engineering
