Data Engineer Tri-Span Consulting San Antonio, TX Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Snowflake Java Team development Data analytics APIs Full Job Description Position - Data Engineer Location - San Antonio (Texas) Job discription: Expertise writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning. Expertise writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application Experience following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) and writing automated tests for database code. Experience with cloud technologies is a bonus: Snowflake, S3 Interest in writing clean, testable, readable, easily maintainable, and performance code. Knowledge of mid-tier technologies like Java, messaging technologies, web containers and understanding how they interact with data. Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools. Ability to translate storyboards and use cases into applications gives Fidelity a strategic edge with critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities. Understanding of CI / CD processes & tools and are passionate about delivering high quality software. Providing leadership guidance, mentorship to empower team members to their optimum performance levels and career potential.
