Strong preference for candidates local to Seattle. We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer with strong ML platform experience to join a high-impact team building real-time customer event infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Required tech stack:

Streaming:

Kafka consumers, Flink job experience •

Google Cloud Platform Data Stack:

BigQuery with strong SQL and query optimization •

Python Data Engineering:

Polars or Pandas at scale, Parquet partitioning, large join performance •

ML Pipelines:

KFP and Vertex AI pipeline components, Docker basics •

Event Store Design:

customer-based partitioning, time-ordered event assembly across sources, schema design for mixed event types (clicks, purchases, returns)
