Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our innovative analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will harness your expertise in data analytics tools, business intelligence, and database design to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. Your energetic approach will drive strategic decision-making, optimize reporting processes, and elevate our organization's data-driven culture. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead analytical initiatives, develop compelling dashboards, and collaborate across departments to solve challenging business problems with clarity and precision. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to support strategic initiatives. Lead requirements analysis sessions to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for data models and analytics solutions. Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Talend or scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or VBA to ensure data quality and integrity across SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and improve data workflows within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Conduct database design activities to optimize data storage, query management, and overall system performance. Utilize data analysis skills to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and generate insights that influence business strategies. Create comprehensive documentation including data models, process flows in Visio, and technical specifications for ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Experience Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong focus on analytics tools such as R, Python, SQL databases, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting/dashboarding platforms. Demonstrated expertise in database design principles, query management, and data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively. Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and working within an Agile environment for project management. Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle analysis as it pertains to data projects. Proficiency in analyzing requirements from diverse stakeholders to develop scalable solutions aligned with business goals. Familiarity with Linked Data concepts and integrating disparate data sources for comprehensive analysis. Excellent analysis skills combined with the ability to present complex findings clearly through dashboards or reports that support strategic decision-making. Pay:
$90,182.47 - $108,606.84 per year
