Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $115,000 a year 8 hours ago Qualifications Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description The Data Management Analyst will be a member of the Data Management Team, which is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and availability of security reference data and other critical investment data across DoubleLine's systems. This role serves as a key control function within the investment operations lifecycle by ensuring data is timely, complete, and reliable for investment, trading, risk, compliance, accounting, and client reporting activities. The analyst will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, validation, and oversight of security-level information, while partnering with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and external data vendors to enhance data quality, improve processes, and reduce operational risk. The role also supports strategic initiatives focused on automation, data governance, and maximizing the value of the firm's data assets. Job Functions Establish, maintain, and validate security reference data and related investment data across DoubleLine systems. Monitor data quality, investigate exceptions, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen controls to improve accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Partner with portfolio management, trading, risk, compliance, client reporting, technology, and external vendors to support data initiatives and resolve complex issues. Support the oversight of relationships with external data vendors, ensuring timely resolution of data discrepancies and evaluating opportunities to improve data coverage and quality. Analyze recurring data issues, identify root causes, and recommend sustainable solutions that reduce operational risk. Support automation, workflow enhancements, data governance, vendor onboarding, and other process improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain procedures, policies, and documentation to promote consistent data standards and operational transparency. 3+ years of investment operations experience, with security reference data or fixed income experience preferred. Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills; Power BI, SQL, Python, Bloomberg, or similar tools a plus. Ability to analyze complex datasets, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues through resolution; exposure to investment operations or financial services is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience in using data, automation, visualization, and AI to improve processes. Base Salary Range The estimated base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.Benefits
