full-time BridgeSource Utilities Solutions is looking for a Data Analytics Architect/Lead to spearhead a major, high impact and highly visible, project effort for a large Utility Client in California. This person will be Leading the Solutioning and Design, Building a high performing team and driving the implementation of Data reporting capabilities across different business units. Work will be done on site in San Diego, CA and carry strong authority, interacting with Executive and Technical teams to drive change that will be felt throughout the organization. This position is a long term Contract role and has the potential to last multiple years as the team and solution gets established.

Position Duties:

Build and Lead an analytics team: working directly with business leaders, IT, and operational teams. Architect, Design and oversee the solution: oversee forecasting, predictive analytics, KPIs, dashboards and operational reporting. Lead the project from idea/business case ? requirements ? development ? testing ? implementation ? adoption. Communicate with Directors/VPs, influence stakeholders, build business cases, and drive change. 10 years minimum experience working in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence required for consideration

Areas of Focus:

Take a business problem like workforce planning, field operations efficiency, compliance, quality, or budgeting and figure out how data/analytics can improve it. Decide which tools, platforms and software would be optimal in designing the solution Understand the data side - ETL/data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, data quality, Power BI/Power Platform - lead the efforts and get hands on as needed.

•Ideally this person understands utility operations (not required) particularly electric/gas operations, field operations or workforce management. This job is open to local San Diego residents and those willing to be in office at least 4 days a week. We are looking for a planner, thinker and doer.
