Position The Post-Secondary Learning Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, program monitoring, and reliability of the District's submissions to state level databases for all Post-Secondary programs.
This includes the following programs:
Advanced Placement (AP), Concurrent Enrollment (CE), International Baccalaureate (IB, and Career & Technical Education (CTE). The role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skill, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work with a team of Learning & Teaching professionals to provide high-quality services on behalf of LPS students and the school District. Essential Duties Compile student level and programmatic CTE/CE data and assist in the preparation of reports and grants Assist in refining Infinite Campus's CTE/CE data to improve reporting Lead data collection, analysis, and visualizations work to monitor the District Unified Improvement Plan components focused on Post-Secondary education Ensure accurate state-level, Post-Secondary data submissions Facilitate knowledge of state submission requirements to departments and school staff as it relates to them and the data for which they are responsible. Assist in Concurrent Enrollment registration tasks, including outreach to students, preparing student rosters and spreadsheets for each school, calling students/parents/guardians to support the registration process, and managing the collection of CE data. Prepare district documentation, communications, and reports related to reported data. Create efficient workflow systems to maximize clear communication and data collection. Conduct training and presentations related to data. Participate as a member of LPS's Postsecondary Learning Advisory Committee (PSLAC). Support the communication and promotion of the district's CTE and CE programs, courses, and learning experience options to parents, students, and the community. Conduct student and parent focus groups related to post-secondary options in the district. Maintain knowledge of and participate in CE, CTE pathway-related initiatives at the local and state levels as appropriate to share learning/tools, and build readiness and capacity. Configure and maintain digital data systems by managing user access, permissions, and platform settings to ensure secure and efficient system operations. Coordinate the integration and movement of data between district platforms and external systems to support accurate and consistent information management. Verify and maintain data accuracy across multiple platforms to support reliable reporting and data integrity. Collaborate with technology and district departments to ensure alignment between data systems, operational processes, and district information needs. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Criminal background check required for hire. Experience 5+ years of experience with a track record of advancing into leadership roles. Strong skills with Access, Excel, and Google sheets, forms, and word. Experience with Infinite Campus, Tableau, SQL, and other visualization tools is preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal and self-management skills. Experience working in a school district setting is desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong planning, organization, motivation management, and evaluation skills. Operating knowledge of and experience with general office equipment, including telephones, copier, fax machine, etc. Knowledge of operating, installing, supporting and maintaining PCs and associated application software preferred at hire. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions; Ability to manage multiple priorities. Speaks to students, parents, colleagues and community with respect and dignity. Starting salary is Grade 13, $35.36/hour
