Senior Data Governance Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is in need of a Data Governance Analyst that will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of enterprise data governance capabilities across the organization. This position will focus on enabling data stewardship, developing and maintaining business glossaries and taxonomies, managing metadata, and supporting emerging AI governance initiatives. The Senior Data Governance Analyst will partner closely with both business and IT stakeholders to enhance data quality, consistency, and trust, while also helping to implement and support governance tools and processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid understanding of core data governance principles, including data ownership, stewardship, and business glossary development
• Strong knowledge of data quality practices and metadata management concepts
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across both business and technical teams
• Experience working with enterprise data catalog platforms such as Atlan, Collibra, Alation, or similar tools
• Familiarity with the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) space, including exposure to project data, cost tracking, and operational workflows
• Experience or exposure to platforms such as Procore, Primavera, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools like Power BI or similar
• Working knowledge of emerging areas such as AI/ML governance and data ethics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and drive alignment across teams The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
