JOB SUMMARY

The Data Analyst is responsible for integrating the data such as medical claims, pharmacy claims and other medical management information from various sources and developing necessary reports to present the information in a clear, concise manner to meet the clients' needs. The Data Analyst will utilize data analysis tools to analyze data and communicate the results of analysis work to provide the necessary recommendations so that the issues are reduced to minimum. They will make recommendations to improve existing policies and assess cost-effectiveness.

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for preparing reports and collecting data necessary for informed strategic decision making; reviewing claims and financial data from insurance providers, and working with physicians and clinical staff to support operational decision-making Uses data analysis techniques, including Data/Trend Analysis, to identify and implement opportunities to improve health outcomes and lower medical costs Utilize MS Office and other data analysis tools to perform assigned tasks Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create and update reports Perform other duties as required
