Pay Range:

$30 to $35 an hour.

Job Summary:

Support eDiscovery operations through electronic data collection, processing, analysis related activities, and preservation.

Process data from email, hard drives, and other electronic sources using specialized processing tools.

Support data ingestion, indexing, culling, filtering, and export activities for internal review and external vendors.

Collaborate with legal, IT, vendor, and internal teams while providing timely project and status updates.

The role offers an opportunity for a technically strong professional to learn eDiscovery tools and take on broader responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Process electronic data from hard drives, email, and other data sources.

Ingest and prepare electronic data using data processing tools.

Perform indexing, culling, filtering, and data export activities.

Support electronic data collection and processing activities.

Export processed data to external vendors as required.

Communicate with internal teams, legal stakeholders, and vendors regarding project activities and status.

Provide status updates to paralegals and other stakeholders.

Support eDiscovery related technical projects and workflow improvements.

Learn and apply new software, processing tools, and technical workflows.

Troubleshoot processing and collection issues and collaborate with team members toward resolution.

Required Qualifications:

Approximately 1 year of relevant hands on technical or data processing experience.

Experience working in a corporate or professional environment.

Experience with data processing, data collection, indexing, culling, or filtering.

Basic MS Office and Excel knowledge.

Ability to work in a technical environment and learn new software and tools.

Strong attention to detail when handling sensitive or confidential data.

Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior eDiscovery experience.

Forensic collections or digital forensics experience.

Experience with FTK Imager, Nuix, Relativity, or similar tools.

Experience with forensic data processing or collection tools.

PowerShell or scripting experience.

Coursework or training in eDiscovery, digital forensics, or cybersecurity.

Experience supporting larger technical projects.

Legal or litigation support experience.

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
