Job Description
Job Summary The Data Analyst supports reporting, data management, platform transitions, and operational efficiency initiatives. This role improves the reliability, usability, and scalability of data and reporting across philanthropy-related systems and processes, including employee volunteering, corporate giving, and employee donations. The analyst collaborates with stakeholders, regional teams, platform owners, and analytics teams to enable data-driven decision-making and streamline workflows. Key Responsibilities Support United Way campaign by organizing, validating, and processing data; collaborating with vendors and internal teams; and generating reports for fund disbursement and matching programs. Assist program transition by validating and analyzing historical data during migration to a third-party application. Reduce manual processes by supporting initiatives that automate reporting and data workflows. Manage Power BI for reporting development, updates, enhancements, and stakeholder requests. Improve master data through collaboration with IT and regional teams, integrating with existing data models. Support data governance and access management for reporting models and data lake assets. Required Qualifications Strong Power BI and data modeling experience. Working knowledge of SQL, data integration, and reporting processes. Experience supporting data quality, governance, or master data initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with philanthropy, giving, pledging, or grants-related platforms. Familiarity with HR data, enterprise data lakes, or cloud-based environments. Experience working with cross-functional or global teams. Certifications None required; certifications in Power BI, SQL, or data governance frameworks are a plus.
