Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Data Protection, CSPM, DSPM, or Data Governance. Data Protection Analyst, Data Protection Analyst - Wiz, Wiz & Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Wiz Cloud Security Platform for cloud security posture management and data security.
- Experience discovering, classifying, and monitoring sensitive data across AWS and Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) concepts and cloud-native data protection practices.
- Experience identifying and remediating data exposure risks, misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and toxic combinations in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including storage, databases, compute, networking, IAM, and security controls.
- Experience assessing cloud risks and implementing security controls to protect sensitive and regulated data.
- Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, encryption, and data governance frameworks.
- Experience integrating cloud security findings with enterprise security, compliance, and governance processes.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements such as
GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS, ISO
27001, and NIST.- Experience working with cloud security and compliance reporting, dashboards, and audit support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, compliance, and application teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize Wiz to discover, classify, and protect sensitive data across AWS and Azure environments.
- Identify data exposure risks, misconfigurations, and toxic combinations affecting cloud-stored data.
- Integrate cloud data security insights with broader DLP and data governance workflows
- Design, implement, and automate enterprise data-protection capabilities that safely govern sensitive information across cloud workloads.
- Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and tune policies to balance detection efficacy with operational impact.
- Collaborate with security operations, compliance, and information protection administrators.
