Public Trust Role Overview We are seeking a Clinical Workload Data Analyst to support reporting and analysis of clinical activity for military medical personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Python skills, along with Power BI experience and preferably a background in clinical informatics and Oracle Health EHR data. The candidate will work with clinical and government stakeholders to identify relevant data, develop methodologies for clinical workload measurement, create and validate data scripts, and develop Power BI dashboards. Key Responsibilities
  • Write SQL and Python scripts to extract and transform clinical activity data from Oracle EHR data tables
  • Develop SQL scripts to pull data from Oracle and AWS databases
  • Transform and prepare clinical workload data for analysis and reporting
  • Test and QA SQL and Python scripts before production deployment
  • Push validated scripts and solutions to production
  • Work with government stakeholders to identify available data sources supporting clinical activity measurement
  • Analyze clinical activity data to support workload reporting and measurement
  • Support methodology development for study questions related to clinical workload
  • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboard functionality
  • Maintain and update clinical workload reporting dashboards
  • Collaborate with clinical, technical, and government stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the reporting process
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and implement appropriate solutions Required Skills
  • Strong SQL development experience
  • Strong Python scripting and data transformation experience
  • Hands on Power BI development experience
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with government stakeholders and translate business questions into data solutions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Public Trust clearance Preferred Skills
  • Clinical informatics experience
  • Experience working with Oracle Health EHR data
  • Cerner clinical informatics experience
  • Experience with Oracle based clinical data
  • Experience working with healthcare or clinical datasets
  • Experience working with AWS databases
  • Experience developing clinical or healthcare analytics dashboards Skills Priority 1.

Education Requirement Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a similar field
