About the Role PrimeGate Data Solutions is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to develop data analysis, write SQL queries, and build dashboards for clients. You will work with stakeholders to define meaningful measures, check results against source systems, and explain findings in clear, practical terms. This role requires strong analytical skills, careful data validation, and the ability to communicate what the data shows, including any limitations that may affect interpretation. Key Responsibilities Work with client stakeholders to define business measures, reporting requirements, and data definitions. Write SQL queries to extract, analyse, and validate data from relevant sources. Build and maintain dashboards and reports using an appropriate business intelligence (BI) tool. Reconcile analytical results with source systems and investigate discrepancies. Check data for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and potential reporting issues. Explain findings to clients and internal stakeholders in clear, accessible language. Document metric definitions, analytical methods, assumptions, and known data limitations. Identify data quality issues and coordinate with relevant teams to investigate and resolve them. Support reporting requests and analysis related to client business questions. Mentor junior analysts, review their work where appropriate, and share sound analytical practices. Skills and Qualifications Four or more years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Strong SQL skills, including the ability to query, analyse, and validate datasets. Experience building dashboards and reports with a BI tool. Understanding of data quality checks, reconciliation, and source-system validation. Ability to define metrics clearly and apply consistent calculation methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain analytical findings, assumptions, and data limitations to stakeholders.
