Position Description:
Supports Medicaid and government-sponsored dental programs, including data reporting, compliance tracking, and analytical support related to state Medicaid requirements, secret shopper initiatives, and ad hoc data requests.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Prepares, validates, and submits state Medicaid reporting in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Supports Medicaid state compliance reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and documentation standards are met. Oversees and tracks Secret Shopper reporting, including data collection, trend analysis, and performance tracking across reporting periods. Responds to ad hoc data requests from internal partners such as Government Programs leadership, Compliance, Operations, Network Strategy, and external stakeholders as needed. Performs routine data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and potential compliance risks related to government program requirements. Assists with data quality checks, reconciliation, and issue resolution across multiple data sources. Maintains organized documentation supporting reported data, methodologies, and assumptions for audit and compliance purposes. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into accurate reports. Participates in process improvement efforts to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability. Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above. #
LI-Hybrid Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor's degree in data analytics, business administration, health administration, information systems, statistics, or a related field and one year of experience gathering, analyzing, researching, verifying, and/or reporting data using software applications. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Position also requires knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications, and SQL or similar data query tools; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical skills; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; the ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines; and the ability to identify and resolve problems using independent judgment. Experience working with data visualization tools is preferred.
