About the role:
Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN This Data Analyst role supports the Energy Efficiency side of the utility business, with a focus on residential solar and energy efficiency programs, including rebates, incentives, and high‑efficiency equipment initiatives. You will sit within a team that serves as data stewards and subject matter experts, ensuring that program data is accurate, trusted, governed, and meaningful for users. The analyst improves data quality and governance, documenting data structures and validation rules, identifying gaps in data pipelines, and partnering with IT to resolve data issues. The role also includes developing Power BI dashboards, supporting self‑service analytics, and helping partners understand and use data over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, validate, and monitor incoming data related to solar and energy efficiency programs Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues across datasets Define and document data dictionaries, business definitions, and validation rules Partner with IT and data engineering teams to implement and improve validation logic and data pipelines Build Power BI dashboards for program reporting and insights Update and document data pipelines and transformation logic
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience Working knowledge of SQL Experience with data quality and data governance concepts Experience using Python for data analysis or transformation Experience developing dashboards in Power BI Build, understand, or support data pipelines Analytical and problem‑solving skills Our Safety Pledge to
