A Data Analyst develops computer programs to analyze large customer information databases for companies and organizations. Analyzes data to identify patterns and provide information relevant to a particular business, industry or field; analysis may be used for marketing, or to detect fraud in financial transactions, or for research. Develops computer programs to protect confidential customer information.
The Data Specialist supports supply chain execution by maintaining accurate, timely, and consistent master data in SAP and related systems. This role is responsible for entering, updating, and validating product and supply chain master data while meeting defined process standards and service level expectations. The role is a strong fit for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and motivated by keeping critical operational data accurate and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Master Data Management & Stewardship Create, update, and deactivate product master and supply chain master data in ERP systems, including materials, BOMs, routings, and related records Complete data transactions accurately and within defined service level expectations Support new part setup activities and maintain required transaction accuracy and timeliness Perform mass data updates in support of business changes, projects, and system initiatives Ensure all master data transactions follow defined process standards, naming conventions, and data rules Maintain appropriate documentation related to master data changes 2. Data Quality and Process Compliance Monitor data quality through reports, routine checks, and audits Identify, investigate, and resolve data issues in a timely manner Escalate recurring issues, process breakdowns, or data risks to the appropriate owners Support compliance with master data standards and internal controls Participate in audits and other reviews related to supply chain master data 3. Coordination and Support Work with planning, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and other functions to gather required inputs and complete data requests correctly Help users understand required master data processes, inputs, and standards Support onboarding and training for common master data processes where needed Partner with broader process or data teams on improvements, system changes, and

deployment activities as applicable Build working knowledge of how data flows across SAP and connected systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, information systems, or related field 1-3 years' experience working in ERP systems, preferably SAP or
SAP S/4HANA
Experience maintaining product master and other supply chain master data in a transactional environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to manage work against defined turnaround times and service expectations Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style Comfort working across functions in a structured, process-driven environment Continuous improvement mindset

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $29.51/hour - $39.35/hour W-2.
