Job Description

Job Description One of the largest utilities clients in New York City is currently looking for Data Analysts to join the Digital Products Customer Analytics, Reporting, and Engagement (CARE) team. The mission of the team is to support development and engagement with customer-facing tools. Examples of products include a rate tool that provides customers with personalized utility rate recommendation and bill comparison tool based on historic AMI usage and billing data. The CARE product portfolio requires monitoring vendor dashboards, platform performance metrics, analyzing AMI usage and customer billing data, and clean energy program data. The Data Analyst's daily responsibilities include reviewing and validating large utility datasets and vendor dashboards to identify data quality issues and improvement opportunities, analyzing multi source data to support CARE product development and maintenance, visual summaries, and/or digital products to derive and share insights with project teams. They collaborate closely with product owners, business subject matter experts, and engineers to interpret trends, support testing and validation of analytical tools, and help refine methodologies that assess and monitor product performance, data integrations, and planning decisions. In addition, the role may be asked to support other data initiatives throughout the Digital Products and Demo Projects team.   • 2+ years of experience with data analysis
  • Utility experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes in a regulated environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple workflows and priorities in a fast‑paced operational setting
  • Data visualization / communication experience
  • Exposure to AMI or Customer Care and Billing data and tools
