Data Analyst:
Level 3 to join a multinational educational publishing company in
OHIO, OH.
This is a 8-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay:
$39.82 - $44.82/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:
This short-term (approximately 3-month) contract role is responsible for building the foundational dataset required to support the external workforce program. The analyst will serve as the day-to-day associate of data collection, validation, reconciliation, and communication across multiple enterprise systems and teams. The role is critical to ensuring a complete, accurate, and auditable worker-level dataset.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Build. Extract, compile, and maintain the master external workforce dataset using security/badging, VMS, Contracts, and ERP/AP systems. Perform detailed worker-level data reconciliation across multiple systems. Validate required data fields per worker. Normalize and standardize supplier names, worker identities, and contract references. Maintain ongoing dataset updates, including delta comparisons as workforce changes occur. Analysis. Review and interpret contract documents (PDFs) to extract key commercial and workforce data fields. Support spend analysis by aligning POs and invoices to individual workers where feasible. Data Governance. Identify and flag data gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies for escalation. Partner with Procurement, AP, IT, and business stakeholders to validate data accuracy. Communication. Present weekly progress, risks, and findings clearly to program lead.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills across multiple systems. Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), VMS platforms, and procurement data. Ability to interpret contracts and extract structured data from unstructured documents (PDFs/SOWs). Advanced Excel skills (data cleansing, matching, lookups, pivot tables). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with high accuracy. Experience working in procurement, finance, or P2P environments preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
