Position Summary:
Drive the Future of Advanced Manufacturing Through Data-Driven Innovation. This position will support various organizations within the Sustainment and Readiness Sector of UDRI. Support encompasses data analysis of advanced manufacturing process data to improve efficiency and offer solutions for increased productivity. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, reporting performance metrics data to internal management and external clients, determining key performance indicators in current processes, and providing actionable recommendations. In addition, this position will require the candidate to work in a team environment and provide strong staff support.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of business, data analytics, management information systems, or related.
  • 1+ years experience in data analytics.
  • Ability to identify, collect, analyze, and report performance metrics data to internal management and external clients.
  • Familiarity with key performance indicators in advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis.
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
  • Capability to identify actionable recommendations for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Exceptional proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Strong work ethic as a self-starting team player.
  • Established analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.
S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
  • Ability to multi task in a team environment.
  • Proficient with SQL and Power BI.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining an analytics system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
