Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data for management purposes. Essential Functions of the
Job:
  • Collaborate with departments and offices to identify business objectives and data requirements to develop metrics/KPIs to support those objectives
  • Collaborate with project leads to measure project effectiveness and track KPIs
  • Execute data collection plans to support data exploration, hypothesis testing, and statistical modeling
  • Perform data analysis of data from multiple sources, generate insights, and validate hypotheses developed during data exploration
  • Present analytical results and data visualizations in a way that is meaningful for the Executive Leadership Team, Managers, and employees, and provide actionable insights
  • Analyze ways internal employees leverage historical data to understand trends, answer questions, and create standardized report automation to reduce the need for ad hoc reporting
  • Identify processes and procedures that are inefficient or repetitive and seek ways to streamline, eliminate, and automate them
  • Perform special projects as requested by the Executive Leadership Team
  • Perform functions of the Data Analyst I position as needed: o Prepare linear charts and pie graphs using financial data as directed by management o Analyze financial data for errors and discrepancies o Build, organize, and create Office Snapshots for each branch office on a quarterly basis o Gather and organize tax information for use on tax returns (federal and state) o Prepare financial reports for use during audits (federal, state, workers' compensation, etc.
) o Analyze and review due diligence documentation for potential acquisitions o Assist with formulating budgets, forecasts, and projections o Assist management with all other reporting requests as needed
  • Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the
Executive Team Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, or related field
  • Advanced in Excel
  • General knowledge and capability to operate office equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the workday
  • Ability to move about the office, bend, and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Work Environment:
Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team.
