Job Description

Action Packaging is seeking a Associate Data Analyst to support business reporting, data analysis, data quality, and strategic decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role will analyze operational, sales, financial, and transactional data to identify trends, improve reporting, and provide actionable insights to leadership. The Associate Data Analyst will work primarily with NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and other business systems and serve as a key analytical resource across departments.
Responsibilities:
Own recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual business reporting Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reports Analyze sales, margin, customer, product, vendor, inventory, and pricing trends Perform profitability and variance analysis and investigate significant changes Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support to leadership and departmental teams Identify trends, risks, and business opportunities and provide actionable recommendations Verify healthcare distributor chargebacks and contract pricing accuracy Investigate pricing discrepancies, transaction issues, and data inconsistencies Perform data validation and reconciliation across ERP and other business systems Develop data quality, exception, and validation reports Support acquisition-related data analysis, migration validation, and reporting Analyze EDI transaction data and assist with identifying and resolving recurring issues Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data accessibility and accuracy Required Skills, Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field 1-3 years of experience in analytics, reporting, operations, supply chain, or a related field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience working with ERP systems and large datasets Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations Desired Skills, Education and Experience NetSuite experience EDI experience Experience in healthcare distribution, packaging, manufacturing, or wholesale distribution Benefits Hybrid Work Schedule Medical/Dental/Vision insurance with flex spend Paid time off plus holidays 401K plan Supplemental insurance options
