A Data Analyst develops computer programs to analyze large customer information databases for companies and organizations. Analyzes data to identify patterns and provide information relevant to a particular business, industry or field; analysis may be used for marketing, or to detect fraud in financial transactions, or for research. Develops computer programs to protect confidential customer information.
We are seeking a detail-driven professional to support user access controls, GRC access request processing, and SOX audit responsibilities in a fast-paced business operations environment. This position plays an important part in maintaining accurate data, supporting control execution, and helping ensure effective collaboration across business and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
Execute SOX IT general controls in support of access management and maintain accurate records within GRC and related SAP framework applications. Provision and remove access to core finance and business systems while supporting user access, segregation of duties, critical access, and elevated access reviews. Identify and resolve access issues, coordinate with business users and IT teams, and support clear communication across assurance partners and auditors. Analyze business processes and data to support decision-making, continuous improvement, and the effective operation of control-related activities.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Proven experience as an Excel Specialist or in a similar data analysis role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, and SUM; pivot tables; filters; sorting; and manipulation of large datasets. Minimum of 3+ years of Sarbanes-Oxley controls experience. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy. Strong leadership, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
