Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and business intelligence to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is focused on transforming data into meaningful insights through intuitive dashboards, reports, and visual storytelling. While you will work with data models and structured datasets, this is not a data engineering-heavy role. Instead, your primary focus will be partnering with business stakeholders, developing impactful visualizations, and ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and actionable across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Power BI, proficient in SQL, and passionate about delivering insights that drive decision-making.

$80k - $90k / salary
CORE RESPONSIBILITES
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations and strategic decision-making Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly visualizations and data models Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (Product, Finance, Ops, Marketing) to define KPIs and reporting needs Use SQL to extract, analyze, and validate data from the data warehouse Build and optimize Power BI data models, including relationships, measures (DAX), and performance tuning Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across all reporting solutions Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support business initiatives Support governance and best practices for report design, data definitions, and metric standardization Manage Power BI Service components including workspaces, apps, and deployment pipelines Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls Support dataflows and OneLake integration for scalable data access and reuse
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
2-5+ years of experience in a data analyst or BI-focused role Strong expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development, performance optimization) Proficient in SQL for data extraction and analysis Experience translating business needs into insightful dashboards and reports Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality Nice to Have Experience with Power BI Service including governance and workspace management Familiarity with data warehousing concepts Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake Basic experience with Python or advanced analytics (optional) Why You'll Love Working Here Work in a business-facing analytics role with high visibility and impact Help shape how data is consumed and understood across the organization Collaborate with a team that values insight, usability, and clean reporting Opportunity to grow your expertise in Power BI and modern BI practices A culture that supports continuous learning and professional development
