Competitive Overview Seeking a senior-level Data Management Analyst to support enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives within a large, highly regulated environment. This role will partner with business leaders, data stakeholders, and executive leadership to develop strategic data management initiatives, build business cases, and drive enterprise data simplification efforts. The ideal candidate combines data governance expertise, business consulting skills, strategic planning experience, executive communication abilities, and strong stakeholder management capabilities . This is a business-focused role rather than a technical engineering position. Key Responsibilities Support development of enterprise data strategies and transformation initiatives Analyze complex data management challenges and recommend scalable solutions Develop business cases, funding proposals, and strategic recommendations Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders across multiple organizations Drive data governance, data quality, and data management best practices Facilitate discussions around customer data strategy and enterprise data simplification Synthesize large amounts of information into executive-level presentations and recommendations Lead cross-functional initiatives involving competing priorities and multiple stakeholders Influence decision-making through data-driven analysis and business insights Support roadmap development, planning activities, and strategic execution efforts Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Data Management Data Governance Business Analysis Analytics Strategy Consulting Program or Project Management Strong understanding of: Data Governance Data Management Frameworks Data Quality Data Risk Management Data Lineage Metadata Management Experience leading large-scale transformation or strategic initiatives Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities Experience building business cases and securing executive buy-in Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to influence senior leadership in matrixed organizations Preferred Qualifications Experience within: Financial Services Banking FinTech Highly Regulated Industries Experience in: Customer Data Strategy Enterprise Data Strategy Master Data Management (MDM) Data Simplification Programs Data Transformation Initiatives Chief Data Office (CDO) organizations Management consulting background preferred Experience supporting enterprise funding and investment requests Familiarity with regulatory and compliance-driven data programs Ideal Candidate Background Data Management Consultant Data Governance Consultant Enterprise Data Strategy Consultant Chief Data Office Program Lead Data Governance Manager Data Management Lead Data Risk Manager Business Strategy Consultant Management Consultant with Data Governance expertise Customer Data Strategy Lead This position is heavily focused on data strategy, governance, stakeholder influence, business case development, executive communication, and enterprise transformation , rather than hands-on technical data engineering or development work.
