Job Title:
US Medical Systems Analytics & Reporting Specialist Job Description We are seeking a highly analytical and process-oriented Systems, Analytics, & Reporting Specialist to join our Medical Education & Communication team. This role is crucial in optimizing organizational systems and data, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance system management and business operations. The position is based in South San Francisco and follows a hybrid working model. Responsibilities Act as a central point of contact for assigned business partners/areas, providing expert guidance on business requirements for new and existing systems and platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Conduct training for end users on system access, usage, and best practices. Manage critical system transitions and updates, ensuring data continuity and user adoption. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, enhancing data accuracy and reducing operational overhead. Anticipate, evaluate, and confirm portfolio trends to inform business decisions and strategies related to the USMA contact center and broader Medical Education & Communication function. Lead the assessment and implementation of emerging tools and methods for reporting and data analysis. Track and report on key organizational metrics, identifying trends and potential risks. Fulfill ad-hoc data requests and design automated reporting schedules for departmental leads. Conduct regular audits of system data to ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Document and maintain system workflows and data entry guidelines. Provide technical support and training to staff to maximize system utility and data quality. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in systems administration, business analytics, or a related field. Advanced expertise in Salesforce systems, Tableau/Qlik dashboards, and Google suite. Strong understanding of Medical Affairs and Medical Information business needs within the pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Strong analytical skills to translate raw data into strategic narratives and visual dashboards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Additional Skills & Qualifications Outstanding attention to detail. Ability to work independently in strategizing, designing, and overseeing activities. Independent judgment and discretion in evaluating and interpreting significant matters. Strong investigational, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to establish rapport and influence without authority. Excellent partnering skills for effective collaboration within teams and with external partners. Strong customer orientation and focus. Work Environment This position follows a hybrid working model, with three days onsite and two days remote. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
