Job Description

Description The Operations Support Data Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of business transactions and vendor payments by managing freight data governance, providing business support for relative teams, and continuous process improvement to reduce customer and vendor service failures. Responsibilities Data Governance and Freight Contract Management Manage ERP system vendor master data including but not limited to new vendor setups, onboarding documentation, default/awarded vendor, and vendor contacts Ensure new and renewed contracts are set up properly by validating key issues, problem areas and recommendations for resolution of issues prior to set up Resolve daily freight discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely vendor payment and customer billing Identify, validate, and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor disputes Perform vendor portal (D1Connect) system audits to ensure RFP statuses remain current and awarded rates accurately sync to ERP system Review freight sales analysis, identify losses, determine root cause analysis, and implement corrective action to prevent future errors Analyze invoice errors due to inaccurate freight components and collaborate internally to remediate moving forward Operations Support Develop and maintain standardized operational reports, and dashboards, and data sources to monitor overall operational effectiveness, data integrity, and other key objectives and performance indicators Resolve cost impact and responsibility of vendor service failures and coordinate internally to remediate moving forward Perform routine audits on internal processes, recommend improvements, and ensure documentation is kept current Coordinate with Logistics Analysts on ad-hoc support requests Develop and maintain good customer relations with both internal and external customers Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to reduce friction, and ensure consistent and integrated policies, processes, and governance Manage multiple assignments and requests/processes concurrently, prioritizing accordingly, and deliver timely results Other Duties as Assigned Assist with future integration plans through ERP system and connected platforms Manage Department Projects and Corporate Projects as needed Maintain expert system knowledge Position Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Knowledge & Experience 1+ years of experience in the petroleum industry, logistics or ERP governance Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills Qualifications & Characteristics Working knowledge of the petroleum industry, logistics, and ERP systems Strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a team environment
