You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
Creating and maintaining product data models for new and existing Steelcase, acquisition, and partner products to support business and customer needs. Designing, loading, and validating product data across enterprise systems to support product development, pricing, order fulfillment, and catalog accuracy. Managing product structures, material masters, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and product configurations within SAP and related systems. Analyzing and resolving product data issues to ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and efficient business processes. Collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Distribution, and other cross-functional partners to translate requirements into data solutions. Supporting customer order execution by building and maintaining manufacturing data used in live production and fulfillment environments. Driving continuous improvement initiatives through testing, troubleshooting, process enhancements, and participation in a Kanban-based work environment.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience working with ERP, MDM, PLM, PIM, or similar enterprise systems. Ability to read, interpret, and work with technical documentation, such as engineering documents, product structures, and related technical data. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and support effective solutions. Ability to analyze information with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and data quality focus. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Experience working in an Agile environment, including Kanban or Scrum methodologies. Experience working with product data, databases, or enterprise systems. Familiarity with ERP, PLM, PIM, MDM, or related business systems. Experience using SAP, Windchill, Excel, or similar data management tools. Knowledge of data loading, mass updates, scripting, or process automation techniques. Understanding of product configuration, data modeling, or variant configuration concepts. Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, product development, or supply chain-related processes.
