Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for an Associate Data & Reporting Analyst to join their team. The primary responsibility of the Associate Data & Reporting Analyst will be to support the vision of the Data & Analytics team by developing/maintaining reports, data models, and data-related processes. The Associate Data & Reporting Analyst is a hybrid role requiring both an understanding of the business and the technology. Experience working in both business and tech roles is a bonus, but more important is the desire to understand the business, the ability to execute a plan or strategy, and having a growth mindset. - Bachelor Degree in business, accounting or information technology/systems or 3+ years' related work experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with report development (Power BI preferred)
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and related technologies
- Experience working in an Agile environment, and managing development backlogs
- Ability to work with stakeholders and business users to define/refine requirements and set priorities
- Strong analysis skills, including an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate into technical and operational requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management including the prioritization of tasks and controlling scope
- Strong ability to think strategically and critically.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate recent examples that highlight their ability to think through strategies/options, and articulate their decision-making process.
