Job Description

The Department of International Health at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a
  • _Research Data Analyst._
  • The Research Data Analyst will provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies. The Research Data Analyst will contribute to ongoing development, maintenance, and use of a research data pipeline that collects and analyzes data.
  • Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • + Collect data and generate reports and models.
+ Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis. + Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study. + Conduct statistical analyses using standard and statistical software packages. + Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings. + Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database. + May engage in other research related responsibilities. + Other duties as assigned. _In addition to the duties described above_ + Support a range of research activities for WASHmobile and related projects. + Assist with data cleaning, data quality checks, and preparation of datasets for analysis and reporting. + Conduct quantitative and qualitative and related research analyses in support of project objectives. + Support development of reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other research products. + Assist with literature reviews, background research, and synthesis of findings relevant to project activities.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • + Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. + Three years of related experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • + Master's Degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
+ Demonstrated experience in quantitative data analysis, data cleaning, or research support through coursework, prior employment, internships, or research assistantships. + Familiarity with REDCap. + Familiarity with statistical software such as R, Stata, or SAS. + Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments and communicate across disciplines. + Experience preparing tables, figures, and written summaries of analytic results. + Interest in global health, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), mHealth, implementation science, or infectious disease research. + Experience supporting manuscript or report development in an academic or research setting.
