Dell USA L.P. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Science at its Round Rock, Texas facility. May work remotely.
Duties:
Responsible for handling all facets of the data science project lifecycle. Design and implement machine learning models for seamless integration into production. Perform various machine learning techniques, including ranking, classification, clustering, regression, information retrieval, and natural language processing (NLP). Generate actionable and compelling recommendations by designing processes to consolidate and analyze unstructured data, extracting valuable insights from complex operational and financial datasets. Construct executive level and user-defined dashboards. Utilize advanced tools and platforms to optimize and streamline the data science workflow. Work closely with cross-functional team to drive successful data science initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or related occupation OR Master's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field.
Experience must include:
statistical and programing languages like Python, PySpark, Scala, or R; querying, manipulating and validating large dataset using SQL or Hive; knowledge of relational databases, data warehouses and data cubes; MDX and DAX queries for SSAS multi-dimensional and tabular models; experience with cloud computing platform such as Azure or AWS; BI and data visualization tools for dashboard developing such as Power BI or Tableau; applied experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, and Tensorflows; build prescriptive and predictive models; build analytical framework and transform data into quantitative insights; and ML/AI experience such as classification models, ANN, NLP or large language models. Experience may be gained concurrently through graduate-level coursework, research, or teaching experience.
