Job Description
Job Summary The SQL Data Analyst will support the Measurement team through technical data analysis, Nielsen data quality, impact assessment, data integrations, and issue resolution. The role requires strong SQL and/or Python coding skills, experience working with large datasets, and hands-on experience with Nielsen data, either directly at Nielsen or within an organization that utilizes Nielsen data. This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere within the EST or CST time zones. Key Responsibilities
- Write SQL queries and analyze large datasets to support measurement and analytics initiatives.
- Provide dedicated analytics support for Nielsen-related projects.
- Monitor Nielsen data quality and identify, investigate, and resolve data issues.
- Conduct impact assessments related to Nielsen data and measurement changes.
- Work with multiple teams across the organization on Nielsen data integrations.
- Understand and assess new Nielsen methodologies and their impact on data and measurement.
- Monitor data quality and proactively identify issues requiring resolution.
- Provide dedicated ownership for Nielsen measurement and data quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven measurement objectives. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, technical analytics, or a related field.
- Required hands-on experience working with Nielsen data, either at Nielsen or within a company that utilized Nielsen data.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries and analyze large datasets.
- SQL and/or Python coding experience is required.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, data quality, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ability to analyze data integrations and assess the impact of changes to Nielsen data and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, AWS, or Databricks.
- Experience working with measurement, analytics, or data quality teams.
- Ability to learn and work with new analytics platforms and technologies.
- Experience collaborating with multiple teams on enterprise data integrations.
