Job Description

Job Summary T he Data Architect / Analyst plays a leadership role in enterprise-wide data management initiatives, including Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Hub architecture, and Data Warehouse design. This role is responsible for developing frameworks, standards, and enterprise solutions aligned with strategic technology roadmaps and industry trends. The analyst also serves as a technical expert in application development, data flows, and systems integration, ensuring compliance with validation and quality assurance requirements. Key Responsibilities Ent erprise Data Architecture Leadership Lead enterprise-wide Data Quality Management, Data Resource Management, and Data Stewardship programs. Define and institutionalize data architecture process standards and frameworks. Develop a Data Management Process Framework and Capability Maturity Model. Execute quantitative maturity assessments for functional business areas. Establish metadata management infrastructure strategy and master data hub technology architecture. Collaborate with global governance teams to institutionalize policy, standards, and architectural deliverables. Provide leadership in defining enterprise information architecture to support business needs. Technical Expertise & Solution Development Architect enterprise data management solutions aligned with strategic technology roadmaps. Apply data modeling, physical database design, and database tuning expertise. Design and implement ERP and Data Warehouse architectures. Utilize tools such as ERWin, ETL (Informatica PowerCenter), and Data Profiling. Apply data-driven analysis methods (DOE, SPC, Mold Flow Analysis, FMEA). Support Computer Systems Validation and Software Quality Assurance. Application Development & Analysis Develop and maintain application programs and interfaces. Translate specifications into new or enhanced application solutions. Demonstrate command of multiple programming languages, systems analysis, testing, debugging, and documentation standards. Maintain peer relationships across IT areas to support effective implementations. Required Qualifications B achelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. Minimum 4 years of IT program development experience. Full system development life cycle experience (analysis, design, coding, testing, performance tuning, documentation). Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills. RDBMS expertise and physical database design experience. Proficiency with data architecture tools (ERWin, ETL, Informatica, Data Profiling). Preferred Qualifications Experie nce in enterprise-wide data architecture programs at large organizations. Familiarity with SEI CMMI or similar process improvement frameworks. Experience with metadata management, master data hub design, and ERP dta architecture. Knowledge of Lean and process quality methodologies. Skills & Competencies P roven analytical skills to evaluate and interpret cross-functional data standardization requirements. Ability to resolve complex enterprise-wide data architecture issues. Strong leadership, collaboration, and matrix management skills. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities. Strategic thinker with results-oriented management style. Effective in team building and stakeholder engage ment.
