This dynamic role offers the opportunity to leverage advanced data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence. As a key member of our analytics team, you will analyze complex data sets, develop insightful dashboards, and collaborate across departments to optimize business processes. Your expertise will empower stakeholders with actionable insights, fostering a data-driven culture that accelerates growth and innovation. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to support business needs. Perform detailed data analysis utilizing SQL queries on SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases to extract meaningful insights. Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend, Python, Bash scripts, or VBA to ensure accurate data integration across multiple sources. Collaborate with business units to gather requirements through analysis skills and translate them into technical specifications for reporting solutions. Conduct database design and data model development to optimize data storage and retrieval efficiency for analytics purposes. Support the software development lifecycle analysis by participating in Agile project methodologies for continuous improvement. Develop and maintain documentation using Visio or similar tools for process flows, system architecture, and dashboard specifications. Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation processes while adhering to best practices in query management and database security. Stay current with emerging analytics trends and tools such as R, Python, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and related software development lifecycle standards. Requirements Minimum of six years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence professional within a local environment in Plano, Texas. Strong proficiency in SQL programming (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), with extensive experience in query management and database design. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, Looker; ability to develop compelling dashboards that drive insights. Knowledge of ETL processes using Talend, Python scripting, Bash (Unix shell), VBA macros or similar technologies for data integration tasks. Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) methodologies and Agile project management practices. Expertise in analysis skills such as requirements analysis, business analysis, Excel data analysis, and reporting/dashboarding development. Technical proficiency in R programming language for statistical analysis; experience with database design principles is highly desirable. Ability to work independently on complex projects involving Linked Data concepts and cross-platform data integration. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating technical details into business language.
