Driving Power Data Insights:
Performing in-depth data analytics and analysis on vast datasets generated by multiple generations of iPhones to find opportunities for power optimization and user experience enhancements. Leveraging Machine Learning for
Impact:
Applying expertise in machine learning techniques to analyze field data and provide actionable recommendations to multi-functional teams, guiding design decisions and improving power efficiency. Owning up
Data Infrastructure:
Supporting and enhancing our automated power data collection infrastructure for the latest iPhones, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical data.
Developing Visual Insights:
Creating insightful visualization tools to empower multi-functional teams to effectively understand and interpret power performance data, enabling data-driven decisions.
Conducting Use Case Analysis:
Leading detailed power analysis of key use cases, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to innovative power-saving strategies.
Driving Future Innovation:
Research, develop, and champion innovative power-saving algorithms and techniques to shape the future of iPhone power management, pushing the boundaries of mobile technology. Preferred Qualifications MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field is preferred Deep understanding of probability, statistics, algorithms, and mathematics, enabling you to develop and interpret sophisticated models Proven ability to process, analyze, visualize, and data mine large volumes of data to extract actionable insights and drive data-driven decisions Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences and drive consensus Minimum Qualifications BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field. 3+ years of industry experience Hands-on experience implementing modern machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, and clustering, to solve real-world problems. Proficiency in software tools essential for data analysis and modeling, including Matlab, C/C++, R, and Python. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
