Data Scientist - Contact Intelligence

Job Description We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the evolution of a member-facing conversational AI and IVR platform by extracting insights from large volumes of chatbot and call transcript data. This role will focus on applied NLP and LLM techniques to analyze text-based interactions, identify trends and gaps in user intent, and translate those insights into clear recommendations that inform the product roadmap and feature development for the virtual assistant. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, is comfortable working with ambiguous text data, and can partner with business and product stakeholders to drive action—not just analysis. • Hands-on experience applying LLMs and/or NLP techniques to real-world textual data (e.g., chatbot conversations, call transcripts, unstructured text)
• Strong analytical data science mindset with the ability to identify insights, patterns, and "so what" outcomes from data
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience translating analysis into actionable recommendations for product or business stakeholders
• Comfort collaborating with cross-functional partners and participating in stakeholder discussions Background in a technical or analytical field (STEM preferred, but not required if experience is strong)
