We deliver mission-focused solutions in data, cloud, cybersecurity, and program management. Position Overview BIT is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives for a federal client, leveraging expertise in AI/ML development, advanced analytics, and automation to deliver mission-focused, scalable, and secure solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership, developing predictive and prescriptive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align analytics capabilities with enterprise objectives. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, modern AI/ML frameworks, and RPA tools is required. Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in analytics and AI/ML solutions
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics
  • Use Python, Anaconda, and Jupyter notebooks for modeling and prototyping
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate models with data pipelines
  • Support data governance activities (tagging, metadata management and secure sharing)
  • Develop RPA solutions to automate business processes
  • Evaluate and recommend analytics products to ensure mission alignment
  • Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and technical reports Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance (required).
  • Bachelor's in data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field\
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science and AI/ML
  • Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Python-based)
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL
