Job Description:

Intrepid Prosperity is seeking a Data Scientist to support a high-priority U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) program at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. This role is embedded within the command's data and analytics mission, delivering actionable intelligence and decision support to special operations forces worldwide. You will apply advanced analytical techniques, machine learning, and statistical modeling to large-scale defense datasets. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy predictive models, NLP pipelines, and classification algorithms for intelligence datasets
• Build automated data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment workflows
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for operational decision-makers
• Collaborate with military analysts, data engineers, and mission planners
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable briefings

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance (non-negotiable)
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks)
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline
• Experience supporting DoD, IC, or SOCOM missions
• Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or geospatial analytics
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
