JOB TYPE

= Onsite Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or financial related field and two years' professional work experience. Work experience can substitute on a year for year basis for the degree. Special consideration will be given to candidates with Six Sigma certification or similar business analysis and engineering certifications. Primary Job Duties/ Tasks The submitted candidate must be able to perform the following duties and/or tasks. Duties of the selected candidate will include, but not be limited to: 1. Analyze, develop, and document complex logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of FDOT and PALM systems requirements. 2. Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations. 3. Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues, and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models, for both as-is structure and proposed structure. 4. Identifies opportunities to reduce data redundancy and trends in data uses and single sources of data. 5. Combine business and technical data to assist with creation of documentation. 6. Work with Business Analysts, Developers, and Application Architects to support agency processes and remediation for the PALM Transition Project. Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting, chart of accounts, and financial transactions. 2. Experience with complex queries involving multiple data sources. 3. Experience with reading, creating, and updating data structures. 4. Experience with multiple include statements. 5. Experience with Visio or other process mapping applications. 6. Knowledge of the SCRUM Framework. 7. Knowledge of financial systems such as an ERP.

Preferred KSAs:

8. Experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams. 9. Experience with documenting and communicating technical requirements. 10. Experience in coordinating with Business Analysts to capture business requirements. 11. Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business language.
