Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Data Scientist to join a highly talented development team working on modern simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member generating and architecting large data sets. Our product team works closely with end users who are tasked to make the right decision under unique and dynamic conditions. Our analytical tools need to enable that effective decision making. This is a significant opportunity to work closely with assembled experts on a dedicated and talented team. Employment is contingent upon contract award. As a team member, you will: Implement data pipelines that integrates data from various sources into a central environment Develop predictive algorithms and models for resource optimization Implement machine learning models to detect data anomalies Utilize data science to identify risks in a supply chain Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility 5+ years of experience in Data Science 4+ years of experience with Python Proficiency with R, TensorFlow, PyTorch Experience with logistic systems such as LMP, DRRS, GCSS-Army, etc. Experience with machine learning training and frameworks (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, etc.) Experience with time‐series analysis such as ARIMA and Exponential Smoothing Experience with unsupervised learning techniques such as k‐means clustering, DBSCAN, and autoencoders Experience with ETL frameworks such as Apache NiFi or Apache Airflow 3+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team Experience building, testing and deploying software Experience with Git in a team environment Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements US Citizenship Preferred qualifications: DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance Experience with large data set analysis Experience writing technical documentation Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP) Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
